The watch list that actually helps you decide.

Keep an ongoing list of films and shows with your group — then settle on something to watch tonight in under a minute, with three game-style decide modes.

Decide in three ways

Same group, different modes. Pick whichever suits the night.

Random pick Weighted by your group's ratings so the chances favour titles you'll actually enjoy.
Shortlist & veto Everyone strikes one title until the survivor's your pick. Configurable for marathons.
Swipe to match Everyone swipes independently; we surface what you all agreed on.
Decide for me One tap — we pick something good, log it, and offer to schedule it.

Built for groups

Start solo. Invite friends with a 6-character code. Your lists, votes, comments, and history stay in sync.

Privacy by architecture

Tonight has no servers of its own. Every piece of group data lives in your iCloud account, synced through Apple's CloudKit.

  • No analytics. No tracking. No third-party SDKs.
  • Sign in with Apple is the only account. We never see your email.
  • The developer cannot read your watch lists, votes, comments, or any other content.
  • No advertising IDs. No fingerprinting. No cookies.

FAQ

Do I need an account?

No traditional account — Sign in with Apple is all. We never need your email.

How does group sync work without a server?

iCloud's CloudKit shares a private record zone between you and your group members. Everyone's device talks to Apple directly; the app developer is never in the loop.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?

The local copy is removed from the device. The iCloud copy follows the rules of your iCloud account — see the privacy policy for the specifics.

Is there an Android version?

No. The app is built on Apple-specific frameworks (SwiftData, CloudKit, App Intents) and isn't planned for Android.

Is there a Mac version?

Not currently — iPhone and iPad only. A Mac Catalyst build is on the long-term list.

How much does it cost?

Free. No subscriptions, no ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases.
